2-Hour Mandatory Live Fire Refresher for NYS Concealed Carry Pistol Holders

Pursuant to 38 RCNY §5-03 sub. a-2: After completion of the NYS mandated Concealed Carry training, licensees are required to submit within 6 months of each renewal, a completion of two hours of a live-fire range training course that meets the requirements of §400.19(19)(b) of the Penal Law.

FIREARMS SAFETY TRAINING WITH LIVE FIRE

The 2 Hour Live Fire CCW Refresher Course is taught in our own state of the art, on-site indoor gun range, by Duly Authorized NRA law Enforcement / New York State Division of Criminal Justice Firearms Instructors. This Course will cover NYS Article 35 – Defense Justification / USE OF FORCE, range safety, safe drawing and re-holstering, dry firing, safe loading/unloading and firearm conditions checks. Individuals must demonstrate proficiency during the live-fire assessment.

Upon completion and passing of this course, participants will be issued a Certificate of Completion. A certificate of completion must be submitted to the county in which the license is issued upon renewal of a Concealed Carry Permit application.

*Ammunition, firearms, and holsters are not included in the course cost. Participants must bring 50 rounds of ammo (1 box) and their own handgun and holster. *Ammunition can be purchased at our guns and ammo shop located on site. Participants are also responsible for bringing eye and hearing protection. Which also can be purchased on site

Failure to come to class on the date the class is given, will result in a loss of payment unless you give GST 24hr notice that you need to reschedule. We will be happy to credit your payment to another class. This applies to the first 2 reschedules. No refunds will be issued.
